Production Experience
Tuna Production
In the early 2000s, Merryfoods, together with its Chinese partner, entered the tuna processing business — a new field for both sides at the time. This venture grew into the largest tuna processing cluster in China, setting an industry benchmark and proving our capability to take bold steps into uncharted territory. Operated successfully for more than 15 years, it provided us with invaluable know-how in managing large-scale seafood production.

Fruits in Cup
Around the same period, Merryfoods also established a fruit-in-cup production line in China, supported by Loblaw and other global retail partners. With Italian machinery and fruit sourced from multiple origins, we overcame significant operational challenges and succeeded in creating a product line that went on to supply world-renowned brands such as Dole and Del Monte. This milestone demonstrated our ability to innovate, adapt, and deliver to the highest global standards.
